Swim Instructor

Swim Instructor
Responsible for providing safe, engaging, and age-appropriate swimming instruction to children and/or adults. Instructors teach foundational water safety and swimming skills, follow the school’s curriculum, adapt instruction to individual abilities, and create a positive, encouraging learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach swimming lessons according to the established curriculum
• Ensure participant safety and maintain active supervision
• Adapt instruction to different ages, skill levels, and learning needs
• Communicate progress and recommendations to parents/guardians
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional pool environment
• Participate in instructor training, meetings, and ongoing development
• Follow all safety, emergency, and operational procedures

Qualifications:
Prior swim instruction experience preferred; strong swimming skills, reliability, patience, and excellent communication skills required. Current lifeguard, CPR/AED, and First Aid certifications preferred
