Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a background in aquatics. As a Swim Instructor, you will be responsible for educating students of all ages in swimming techniques, safety practices, and water confidence. Your role will involve creating a positive and engaging learning environment that promotes skill development and enjoyment of swimming.

Responsibilities

• Conduct swim lessons for individuals and groups, tailoring instruction to meet the needs of each student.
• Teach various swimming techniques and safety skills to enhance students' abilities.
• Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a positive learning atmosphere.
• Monitor students' progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage improvement.
• Ensure the safety of all participants during lessons by enforcing pool rules and regulations.
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to develop lesson plans and program activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool area and equipment.
• Engage with students and parents to foster communication about progress and goals.

Requirements

• Previous experience in sports coaching or related fields is preferred.
• Knowledge of swimming techniques and safety practices is essential.
• Experience working with students of various ages, particularly in an educational or coaching capacity.
• Skills in behavior management to effectively handle diverse learning styles.
• Ability to swim proficiently and demonstrate various swimming strokes as needed.
• Strong communication skills to effectively educate students and interact with parents.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
