Swim Instructor - Private Lessons | $27 - $35/per hour | Strong Swimmers Needed

Patti's Swim School is a selective swim school providing customized, one-on-one instruction in a calm and supportive environment. We are year round program, outdoor in the summer and indoor November to March. We teach in a saline pool heated to 91 degrees

We are looking for reliable instructors who enjoy teaching and want steady year-round work. Our instructors work closely with students and families, helping swimmers build skills, confidence, and water safety.

Applicants must be confident swimmers and able to demonstrate freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke.

Former competitive swimmers, lifeguards, coaches, kinesiology students, teachers, ABA therapists, and childcare professionals with a swimming background often do very well in this role.

Pay

$28 - $32 per hour starting range, depending on experience. Paid training available.

Position Details

Part-time, year-round position. Approximately 20-30 hours per week

Private lessons (1 student to 1 instructor)

Immediate Openings

We currently have immediate openings for deck / instructor Mondays 3:30- 7:30, Wednesday 3:30 - 7:30 and Thursday 3:30- 8pm .. Friday and Saturday weekend Sub options at a 32 dollar an hour rate

Requirements

• Strong swimming ability
• Able to demonstrate freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and safyrokes
• Able to tread water comfortably
• Comfortable teaching children and adults
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to commit to a regular weekly schedule
• Long-term commitment preferred
• Reliable transportation and ability to consistently arrive on time for scheduled shifts
• Saturday availability a plus
