Swimming Teacher

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Swim Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in swimming teaching, with the ability to inspire and motivate swimmers of all ages and skill levels. As a Swim Instructor, you will play a vital role in promoting water safety, enhancing swimming skills, and fostering a love for swimming among participants.

Duties

• Conduct engaging swim lessons for individuals and groups, tailored to various skill levels from beginners to advanced swimmers.
• Develop lesson plans that focus on improving swimming techniques, water safety, and personal fitness.
• Assess each swimmer's progress and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their goals.
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment by adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with students and their families regarding progress, concerns, and recommendations for improvement.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance coaching skills and knowledge of swimming techniques.
• Promote the benefits of swimming as a lifelong skill and encourage participation in swim-related activities.

Requirements

• Previous experience in swimming teaching is required.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students of all ages.
• A thorough understanding of swimming techniques and water safety practices.
• Ability to motivate and inspire others while maintaining a positive attitude.
• Certification in lifeguarding or first aid is an advantage but not mandatory; training may be provided.
• Hold a Level 2 qualified swimming instructor certificate.
