Swimming Teacher

Overview
We are seeking dedicated Swim Instructors to join our team at one or both of the following locations:

Wellingborough Pool on Finedon Road

Northampton High School in Wootton, Northampton

The ideal candidate will have a passion for swimming and teaching children how to swim safely and effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct swimming lessons for groups of 4 children of varying ages and skill levels
• Following a progression scheme which takes children from beginner to proficient
• Ensure the safety of all swimmers during lessons
• Motivate and inspire swimmers to improve their skills
• Monitor swimmers' progress and provide feedback for improvement and awards
• Maintain a clean and organised pool area

Qualifications

• STA/ASA Level Two Swimming Teacher Qualification.
• Ability to educate and communicate effectively with swimmers of all ages
• Lifeguard certification is a plus and would be reflected in wage
• Strong swimming skills and knowledge of different strokes
• Excellent interpersonal skills and patience
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £20.00-£24.00 per hour
