Job Overview

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Baby & Pre-school Swimming Teacher to join our team in both our Twickenham and Chiswick sites, to inspire young learners and foster a love for water safety and swimming skills. In this vibrant role, you will deliver engaging, safe, and age-appropriate swimming lessons that promote confidence, coordination, and enjoyment in the water. Your energetic approach will motivate children to develop essential swimming techniques while ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver dynamic swimming lessons tailored specifically for babies and pre-school children, focusing on water safety, basic swimming skills, and confidence-building activities
• Create a fun, supportive environment that encourages children’s participation and enjoyment of water activities
• Monitor each child's progress closely, providing constructive feedback to parents or guardians regularly
• Ensure all safety protocols are strictly followed, including constant supervision and adherence to pool rules
• Prepare lesson plans that align with developmental milestones and curriculum standards for early childhood aquatic education
• Maintain accurate attendance records, progress reports, and safety documentation for each class
• Collaborate with team members to organize special events or themed classes that enhance the learning experience

Requirements

• Strong background in teaching or instructing children in swimming
• Passionate about early childhood development and water safety education
• Excellent communication skills to engage both children and their parents effectively
• Ability to create a lively, positive atmosphere that motivates young learners
• Certified in Water Safety
• DBS Checked
• Willingness to work flexible hours including weekends or evenings as needed
