Swing Sanitation

Swing Shift Production & Sanitation Team Members Lochmead Dairy | Full-Time | Shift Starts at 2:00 p.m.

Lochmead Dairy is hiring swing shift team members to finish daily production and clean, sanitize, and reassemble equipment. We are looking for dependable, flexible individuals who communicate well and work together to complete each day’s responsibilities.

Compensation & Schedule Hourly positions, averaging 40 hours per week.

Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime and/or weekend work.

Shifts begin at 2:00 p.m. and end when all production and sanitation tasks are complete.Shifts should average eight hours per day; there is no set end time.

Qualifications & Physical Requirements Ability to perform mental math and maintain accurate inventories.

Good personal hygiene and a commitment to facility cleanliness.

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.

Willingness and ability to learn new skills.

Ability to use a pallet jack; training is provided.

Ability to perform frequent lifting and bending and stand on concrete.

Ability to work cooperatively with others to complete all assigned tasks.

Responsibilities For All Positions Swing shift team members relieve day shift production personnel, finish milk plant production, and complete equipment sanitation. All team members are expected to maintain clean, orderly work areas, assist coworkers, follow management’s instructions, and maintain a professional, focused attitude.

Team members may be assigned duties from any of the positions below based on daily operational needs.

Included Positions Position 1 – Milk Plant

Finish milk plant production, beginning at the carton filler.

Wash equipment, tanks, and parts in the milk plant.

Reassemble equipment after cleaning.

Position 2 – Raw Sanitation *Specific position being hired for*

Perform clean-in-place (CIP) procedures and wash raw-side silos, tankers, and cream tanks.

Disassemble, clean, and properly reassemble the separator.

Position 3 – Ice Cream

Wash equipment, tanks, and parts in the ice cream room.

Wash equipment, tanks, and parts in the cookie sandwich room.

Reassemble equipment and complete equipment changeovers.

Position 4 – Full-Time Raw Side

Finish milk plant production, beginning at the carton filler.

Wash equipment, tanks, and parts in the milk plant.

Reassemble equipment after cleaning.
