Swing Shift Operations Supervisor (Working Supervisor)

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Swing Shift Operations Supervisor to lead evening warehouse and shipping operations. This is a hands-on working supervisor role, ideal for someone who leads by example while actively participating in dispatching, routing, and nightly workflow management.

Schedule

• Swing Shift: 2:00 PM – 2:00 AM
• Full-Time
• Permanent swing/night shift — applicants must be committed to overnight work

Compensation

• Up to $30.00 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all swing/night shift warehouse operations
• Manage cross-dock shipping and receiving to maximize efficiency
• Monitor inbound/outbound transportation schedules and adjust as needed
• Oversee nightly workflow on the warehouse floor to ensure safe, efficient operations
• Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, warehouse staff, and customers during the night shift
• Resolve operational issues and make real-time decisions to keep deliveries on schedule
• Assist with scheduling, workflow planning, and labor coordination
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures
• Complete reports and maintain accurate operational records
• Use Microsoft Excel and internal systems to track performance and documentation

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in transportation, logistics, warehouse, or food distribution preferred
• Experience with dispatching and route planning
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and general computer applications
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, dependable, and comfortable working overnight hours
