1st shift hours: 5:00 am or 5:30 am start.

The CNC Operator or CNC Set Up Operator is responsible for the efficient setup and operation of multi-axis CNC Lathe Machinery in order to run prototype jobs and production runs, in accordance to engineering drawings, using Magnet-Schultz of America’s advanced CNC Machinery.

• Set up, operate, CNC Lathe and prove out new programming.

• Read and understand G-Code

• Interpret mechanical blueprints as well as a variety of geometric and trigonometric principles.

• Transfer metric to inches

• Maintain close tolerances (within .0001)

• Have a full understanding of machine tool accuracies, fixture offsets, and tool offsets

• Knowledge of cutting tool feeds, speeds and tool life

• Experience in utilizing all of the standard inspection tools in order to check your work

• Conduct proper inspection of first piece run and in process parts

• Experience working with Fanuc and Mitsubishi controls

• Experience working with aluminum and stainless materials

• Past experience working with any of the following machines: Mori Seiki, Eurotech, Nakamura or Swiss Star

Pay will depend on ability to set up.

Pay Rate:

• $23.00-$46.00/hr with benefits (medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401k with match, paid time, etc)
