Responsibilities include the following:

• Communication and customer service
• Hospital emergency response
• Administration
• Alarm monitoring
• Patient and general enquiries
• Demonstrating the principles of Tino Rangatiratanga
• Following health and safety regulations

About the Team/Service/Location

Our team of 18 make up a diverse and dynamic group, who embrace all aspects of the department, to provide a smooth and efficient service to the hospital and wider Taranaki community.

About you

You will have the following skills and experience:

• Experience in administration in a healthcare setting (preferred)
• Advanced oral communication and proven customer service skills (essential)
• Sound computer skills e.g., MS Word and Excel
• The ability to work well under pressure
• The ability to manage varying workloads and learn new skills
• Must be able to work night shifts
• Good sense of humour, a team player, desire to work in a vibrant and fun environment
