Switchboard Operator/Receptionist

Clarewood House is looking for a cheerful, patient individual to operate the switchboard and front desk of our senior community. We are seeking someone who is fast-paced and able to multi-task, and who enjoys working around the elderly.

Requirements:

• Operate a switchboard, taking and transmitting messages and calls.
• Assist residents with requests, communicating their needs to the appropriate staff
• Maintain security of the residents by managing access of visitors through the gates, directing visitors to the appropriate areas in a professional and courteous manner.
• Communicate with EMS personnel when emergencies arise
• Assist guests to reserve guest rooms
• Sort and distribute incoming mail and packages
• Maintain various logs, including visitor sign in, EMS logs, maintenance requests, guest reservation calendar
• Good computer skills
• Must be at least 18 years of age. Associates degree preferred.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• Front desk: 1 year (Preferred)
