System Admin (Contract)

• Provide basic administration and support for Windows and Linux servers.
• Perform routine system administration and daily operational tasks.
• Conduct basic system monitoring and investigate incidents when they occur.
• Perform scheduled patch management, including patches related to identified CVEs and security vulnerabilities.
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support, perform initial troubleshooting, and escalate issues according to established procedures.
• Follow existing Knowledge Management documents, Standard Operating Procedures, and work instructions.
• Support daily IT operations and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure service continuity.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 1 year of experience as a System Administrator, System Engineer, IT Support Engineer, or in a related role.
• Hands-on experience in operating system patches for Windows Server and/or Linux environments.
• Good working knowledge of Windows Server and Linux administration.
• Basic knowledge of server monitoring, incident management, patch management, and IT operations.
• Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and escalate complex issues appropriately.
• Good command of written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
• Willingness and ability to work outside normal business hours when required, including scheduled maintenance, patch deployment, system deployment, incident response, and on-call support.
