About the role
We are looking for a Systems Administrator with hands-on experience supporting Windows and Unix/Linux environments, with exposure to cloud and virtualization technologies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining system availability, troubleshooting infrastructure issues, and ensuring the stability and security of IT environments.
Key responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows and Unix/Linux servers and systems.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity.
- Troubleshoot and resolve server, operating system, and infrastructure issues.
- Perform system configuration, patching, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Manage and support virtual machines and virtualization platforms.
- Support cloud infrastructure and cloud-based services.
- Perform user, system, and access administration as required.
- Monitor backups and assist with disaster recovery and system restoration activities.
- Identify recurring issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Maintain system documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.
About you
- 2+ years of experience in Systems Administration, IT Infrastructure, or a related role.
- Strong experience with Windows Server and/or Unix/Linux environments.
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
- Exposure to cloud platforms and cloud infrastructure.
- Knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
- Experience with system monitoring, patch management, backup, and security practices.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and documentation skills.
- Willing to work onsite in BGC, Taguig, on an EST-aligned schedule.
