System Administrator

About the role

We are seeking an experienced IT Administrator to join our IT team. This is a key role that combines technical support with infrastructure management. The successful candidate will provide technical support to end-users, deploy and configure POS systems at retail locations, manage Windows Server and Active Directory, and ensure business continuity through reliable IT infrastructure. This position requires someone willing to travel to various locations to handle installations, training, and on-site support.

Key responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, and on-site visits
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues
• Document and track all support tickets in the IT management system
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, servers, printers, and network equipment
• Manage Windows Server and Active Directory environments
• Perform system updates, patches, and routine maintenance
• Lead POS system installation and configuration at retail locations
• Conduct on-site training and support for store staff on POS systems
• Implement and enforce security protocols and user access controls
• Maintain IT asset inventory and equipment records

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 2-4 years in IT support or system administration
• Knowledge of Windows OS, Windows Server, hardware troubleshooting, and networking fundamentals
• Windows Server administration and Active Directory management
• Hardware troubleshooting (desktops, laptops, printers)
• Basic networking (TCP/IP, network troubleshooting)
• IT ticketing systems and service management
• POS system installation and configuration
• Strong customer service orientation and patience with end-users
• Problem-solving and analytical thinking
