System Administrator

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor servers, networks, cloud systems, storage, and related infrastructure.
• Manage user accounts, access rights, permissions, and storage allocations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system, server, access, and infrastructure concerns.
• Support system configuration, patching, updates, backups, recovery, and restoration activities.
• Monitor system performance, security logs, alerts, vulnerabilities, and unusual activities.
• Coordinate with internal IT teams, vendors, and service providers to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain updated system documentation, access logs, configuration records, and infrastructure inventory.
• Support infrastructure upgrades, cloud activities, system improvements, and IT projects.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data privacy, confidentiality, and access control requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• At least two years of experience in system administration, IT infrastructure, server support, network support, or a related role.
• Knowledge of server administration, networking, operating systems, access management, system monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Relevant IT certifications are an advantage but not required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and capable of handling confidential system and company information.
