System Administrator

Role & responsibilities

• Provide daily IT support to end users, troubleshooting laptop/desktop hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
• Handle laptop and desktop maintenance, including OS installation, software updates, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Manage laptop imaging, configuration, and deployment for new hires and replacements.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, including laptop allocation, returns, and lifecycle tracking.
• Administer and support the Microsoft Office 365 environment, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Azure AD.
• Manage user accounts, access provisioning, and permissions in Active Directory and O365.
• Support and troubleshoot basic network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, VPN, and firewalls.
• Monitor system performance and proactively resolve issues to minimize downtime.
• Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and endpoint security processes, including patch management and antivirus.
• Maintain accurate documentation of systems, configurations, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Escalate and coordinate with L3 teams or vendors for complex technical issues as needed.
• Stay updated with new tools and technologies to recommend process improvements.

Preferred candidate profile

• Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate / Microsoft 365 Certified
• CompTIA A+ / Network+
• ITIL Foundation
