System Administrator

For our client, we are seeking a System Administrator to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space.

This role will support secure collaboration and application environments across remote operations, with a strong focus on SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365, and server administration.

The position will partner with end users and technical stakeholders to manage access, resolve issues, and keep critical systems running smoothly.

It also involves supporting cybersecurity and compliance activities through clear documentation and dependable operational execution.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $105,000 – $120,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain SharePoint Online sites and content
• Create and manage security groups and user permissions for SharePoint
• Process user requests for site creation and content updates
• Monitor Linux-based application environments for performance and issues
• Perform routine application platform administration tasks
• Troubleshoot access and configuration issues in applications and servers
• Assist with documentation for cybersecurity and compliance activities

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 2-3 years of relevant experience
• 2-4 years of experience in SharePoint administration or systems administration
• Current CompTIA Security+ certification is required
• Hands-on experience with SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 services
• Working knowledge of Linux or Windows server administration
• Experience troubleshooting application and user-support issues
• Proficient in creating technical documentation and user materials
