Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled System Administrator to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot IT infrastructure, servers, operating systems, user accounts, and network-related services. The ideal candidate will ensure system availability, security, performance, and smooth day-to-day IT operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain Windows and/or Linux servers.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, groups, and access policies using Active Directory.
• Administer Microsoft 365, Exchange, and other enterprise applications as required.
• Monitor system performance, availability, storage, and resource utilization.
• Perform system updates, security patches, antivirus updates, and vulnerability remediation.
• Configure and maintain server backups and support disaster recovery procedures.
• Troubleshoot server, operating system, application, and connectivity issues.
• Manage DNS, DHCP, file servers, print servers, and related infrastructure services.
• Support virtualization platforms such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Maintain system documentation, asset inventories, and operational procedures.
• Monitor system logs and respond to incidents, alerts, and service requests.
• Coordinate with network, security, cloud, and application teams to resolve technical issues.
• Follow IT security standards, access control policies, and change management procedures.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience in Windows Server and/or Linux administration.
• Knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VPN, and basic networking concepts.
• Experience with server monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance management.
• Knowledge of backup and recovery processes.
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Understanding of patch management, antivirus, and system security.
• Experience with ticketing systems and IT service management processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS infrastructure.
• Knowledge of PowerShell, Bash, or basic scripting.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and configuration management tools.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft, Red Hat, CompTIA Server+, or VMware certifications.

Educational Qualification

Bachelors degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
