System Administrator

About the role

Capital Dynamics Group is seeking a System Administrator to manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud services, and security systems. The role also supports automation initiatives and AI-driven improvements to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and system performance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain servers, operating systems (Windows/Linux), and IT hardware/software, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
• Administer network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and Wi-Fi systems.
• Monitor system and network performance, uptime, logs, and resource utilization to ensure high availability and reliability.
• Implement and maintain cybersecurity controls, including firewalls, security tools, patch management, and vulnerability mitigation.
• Perform regular backups and support disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and Active Directory access control.
• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
• Manage cloud platforms (Microsoft 365, AWS, Alibaba cloud, or Google Workspace), including user administration and system integration support.
• Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, IT procedures, and software licenses.
• Identify opportunities to improve IT operations using automation and AI tools, including monitoring, reporting, and routine task optimization.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in IT, Computer Science, System Administration, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in system administration or IT infrastructure support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft 365, AWS, Azure, or Google Workspace.
• Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs, and cybersecurity principles.
• Experience with backup systems, monitoring tools, and endpoint management solutions.
• Basic scripting skills in PowerShell, Python, or Bash is an advantage.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted automation and workflow optimization tools, with ability to apply them responsibly while maintaining data security and confidentiality.
