System Administrator

Position: System Administrator

Compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 annually, depending on experience

Location: Overland Park, Kansas

Inceed has partnered with a great company to help find a skilled System Administrator to join their team!

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on infrastructure professional who enjoys owning a broad mix of identity, endpoint, network, and security responsibilities. You’ll step into a role with real visibility, meaningful impact, and room to grow as the organization continues investing in its IT team.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Administer Microsoft Entra ID, SSO, MFA, and user lifecycle processes
• Manage Intune for device deployment, patching, compliance, and security
• Support Google Workspace and Apple device management platforms
• Oversee firewalls, VPNs, switches, routers, and wireless connectivity
• Monitor security alerts and assist with incident response efforts
• Automate routine tasks using PowerShell, Python, or similar tools
• Maintain SOPs, documentation, and technical system diagrams
• Support cloud and infrastructure operations as needed
• Collaborate across teams and assist with escalated technical issues

Required Qualifications & Experience:

• 4+ years of systems administration or infrastructure experience
• Strong Microsoft Entra ID and Intune administration experience
• Solid networking knowledge, including firewalls, VLANs, VPNs, and wireless
• Experience supporting security monitoring and incident response
• Proficiency with scripting or automation using PowerShell or Python
• Experience managing enterprise device compliance and patching
• Ability to work in a hands-on, individual contributor environment
• Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred

Nice to Have Skills & Experience:

• Experience with Azure or Google Cloud administration
• Background supporting Jamf or Mosyle environments
• Familiarity with SOC 2 or NIST frameworks
• Relevant certifications in Entra, Intune, Azure, Google Cloud, or Apple management
• Experience building automation to improve operational efficiency
