Job Summary

The IT Infrastructure, Cloud & Support Department is responsible for managing data centers, physical and virtual servers, storage systems, and local IT operations across the organization. We are currently seeking a Senior Red Hat Linux System Administrator who is passionate about technology and eager to expand their expertise within a global enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain CentOS, Red Hat Linux, Oracle Linux, and AIX servers, including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
• Manage and support OpenStack environments.
• Deploy, configure, and manage cloud resources in Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Operate virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere.
• Manage enterprise backup solutions including Commvault, Dell Networker, Veeam, or equivalent technologies.
• Configure and maintain identity and access management services, like Okta and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Utilize collaboration tools such as SharePoint Online, Jira, and Confluence.
• Implement and manage configuration and orchestration tools such as Puppet and Ansible.
• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade server and storage solutions.
• Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in system administration.
• Act as a technical escalation point for local IT, DevOps, Infosec teams across global offices.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or similar.
• Excellent English communication, reading, and writing skills (100%).
• Hands-on experience with Linux Systems, CentOS/RedHat flavors and related tools, like Katello, Satellite, etc.
• Experience managing infrastructure and cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud Platform or Azure (preferable AWS).
• Familiar with configuration management and IaC tools like Puppet, Ansible, Terraform Chef (Preferable Puppet).
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Logic Monitor, Grafana or other.
• Able to troubleshoot outages or performance issues in a large, distributed environment.
• Proficient in at least one of the following scripting languages, Bash, Python or Ruby.
• Big plus: hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenStack, Kubernetes
