System Administrator

We are looking for an experienced System Administrator to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing, troubleshooting, and maintaining our systems and networks to ensure optimal performance and security. The role involves handling daily operational tasks, providing technical support, and proactively addressing any potential system issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Management: Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, software, hardware, and related infrastructure.
• Network Administration: Manage network servers, technology tools, and monitor network performance to ensure efficient connectivity.
• Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve hardware, software, and network issues to ensure minimal downtime.
• Security Management: Implement and oversee security measures, including firewall, antivirus, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Backup and Recovery: Set up and manage backup, restore protocols, and disaster recovery processes.
• User Support: Provide technical support and training to end-users, addressing and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
• Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance, manage resource utilization, and provide capacity planning solutions.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting processes.
• Compliance and Policies: Ensure systems adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements, applying necessary updates and patches.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: 2-5 years of experience as a System Administrator, Network Administrator, or similar role.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows OS.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Knowledge of network protocols, security measures, and backup/recovery systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and in a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
• Familiarity with automation tools and DevOps practices.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
