System Administrator

Job Summary

The System Administrator is responsible for maintaining, monitoring, and supporting the company’s IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, cloud systems, user access, and related technologies. The role ensures system availability, security, reliability, and efficient IT operations through infrastructure management, troubleshooting, system monitoring, and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer, maintain, and monitor servers, networks, cloud systems, storage, and IT infrastructure.
• Monitor system performance, security alerts, access controls, and infrastructure availability.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, access rights, and system configurations.
• Troubleshoot system, server, network, and infrastructure-related issues.
• Support system upgrades, patching, backups, recovery activities, and technical implementations.
• Maintain system documentation, configuration records, inventory, and access logs.
• Assist in cybersecurity monitoring and ensure compliance with IT security standards.
• Provide technical support and coordinate with IT teams, vendors, and service providers.
• Recommend improvements to enhance system performance, reliability, and security.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• With at least 2 years of experience in System Administration, IT Infrastructure, Server Administration, Technical Support, or related roles.
• Knowledgeable in server administration, networking, operating systems, access management, and system monitoring.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Microsoft Azure, OCI, or similar) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) is an advantage.
• Familiar with backup, recovery, cybersecurity practices, and infrastructure management.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to support technical concerns.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of maintaining accurate technical documentation.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
