System Administrator Desktop Support

Role Description The System Administrator Desktop Support role is a contract, on-site position based in Sassenheim. The role involves providing day-to-day desktop and desk-side support, including installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, operating systems, and standard applications. Responsibilities include troubleshooting technical issues, resolving incidents and service requests, and escalating complex problems when necessary. The System Administrator Desktop Support will also manage user accounts and permissions, perform routine system checks, and ensure adherence to company security and compliance standards. Collaboration with other engineers and service partners to support local infrastructure and deliver consistent service quality is an important part of this role.

Qualifications

• Strong experience with desktop computers and desk top support, including hardware and software installation, configuration, and maintenance.
• Demonstrated technical support and troubleshooting skills for Windows or other common operating systems in corporate environments.
• System administration capabilities, including user account management, permissions, and basic server or network interaction as required.
• Ability to communicate clearly with end users, document issues and resolutions, and follow established ITIL or similar support processes.
• Relevant technical certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft, or similar) and prior experience in on-site support roles are highly beneficial.
• Capacity to work independently on customer premises, manage priorities in a fast-paced environment, and maintain a professional, service-focused attitude.
