Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced System Administrator with at least 5 years of hands-on experience in enterprise IT infrastructure support, systems administration, server management, and information security. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing advanced L3 support, managing server environments, resolving complex incidents, supporting vulnerability remediation initiatives, and ensuring the security, availability, and performance of the organization's IT infrastructure.

This role requires strong expertise in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, virtualization technologies, security tools, endpoint protection, cloud platforms, and IT service management. The successful candidate will serve as an escalation point for critical incidents and contribute to continuous improvement of infrastructure and security operations.

Key Responsibilities

Incident & Ticket Resolution

• Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for infrastructure, systems, and server-related incidents.
• Act as an escalation point for unresolved technical issues.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve complex infrastructure and application issues.
• Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests within SLA requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and resolutions.

Systems Administration

• Administer and maintain Windows Server environments.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and related infrastructure services.
• Perform server deployment, configuration, patching, monitoring, and maintenance.
• Support Microsoft 365 administration and cloud-based services.
• Maintain server performance, availability, and reliability.

Security & Vulnerability Management

• Monitor and remediate infrastructure vulnerabilities.
• Investigate and respond to security-related incidents and threats.
• Manage endpoint protection and antivirus solutions.
• Support malware detection, containment, remediation, and recovery activities.
• Ensure security compliance and adherence to organizational policies.
• Conduct routine security audits and recommend improvements.

Infrastructure Monitoring & Maintenance

• Monitor server health, system performance, and infrastructure alerts.
• Perform proactive maintenance and capacity planning.
• Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
• Ensure systems are patched and protected against known vulnerabilities.

Virtualization & Cloud Support

• Administer virtualization platforms such as VMware or similar technologies.
• Support cloud environments including Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 services.
• Assist with server migrations, upgrades, and infrastructure projects.

Documentation & Process Improvement

• Create and maintain technical documentation, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
• Participate in infrastructure improvement initiatives and IT projects.
• Identify opportunities to improve system reliability, operational efficiency, and security posture.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in System Administration or Infrastructure Support.

• Strong experience providing L3 technical support.

• Hands-on experience managing:

• Windows Server environments

• Active Directory

• DNS and DHCP

• Group Policy

• Microsoft 365

• Azure or other cloud platforms

• Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware.

• Knowledge of vulnerability management and security best practices.

• Experience with antivirus and endpoint protection platforms.

• Experience handling malware incidents and security investigations.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
