Your Task

As a System Administrator, you will understand the latest developments in Linux and cloud technology. You will operate and enhance the T-Cloud Public platform in a customer-oriented manner.

Responsibilities

• Solve complex problems in the daily operation of a hyper-scaler's cloud backend
• Install and configure software and hardware
• Manage network devices
• Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
• Troubleshoot issues
• Ensure security through access controls, backups and firewalls
• Consistently automate with common automation frameworks
• Work in a team of specialists where everyone helps each other in an open and trusting manner

Your Profile

We are seeking a System Administrator with strong expertise in Linux and cloud technologies, particularly in operating hyper-scale public cloud platforms. The ideal candidate should have professional IT experience with modern cloud technologies, strong networking knowledge, automation skills, and excellent customer focus.

Must Have Skills

• Completed studies in a technical, engineering or scientific subject or comparable professional training
• Professional experience in IT with a focus on modern cloud technologies
• Experience in Linux
• Experience in Bash
• Experience in network related services
• Knowledge of physical and virtual networks
• Knowledge of routing and firewalls
• Knowledge in infrastructure automation
• High level of customer focus
• English language proficiency (B2 level)
• Must be working in the European Union to meet data security and privacy requirements
• At least 1 year of experience with Linux and HW/SW overview (Basic)
• At least 1 year of experience with IT Asset Management
• At least 1 year of experience with Network - Security Management and Operations
• At least 1 year of experience with Storage & Backup Operations
• At least 1 year of experience with Troubleshooting Network Problems
• At least 1 year of experience with Customer Focus
• At least 1 year of experience with Software Installation and Support
• At least 1 year of experience with Infrastructure Platforms for IoT and Cloud

Nice to Have Skills

• Knowledge of agile development processes
• Participation on on-call duties
• Independent solving and troubleshooting of incidents and errors within defined expertise

Salary: Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than €1,150 gross.

Additional Details

Please be informed that our remote working possibility is only available within Slovakia due to European taxation regulation.

Possible specialization: Participation on on-call duties, independent solving and troubleshooting of incidents and errors within defined expertise.
