System Analyst – Automotive

Job Summary

We are seeking a System Analyst to analyze automotive system requirements, interfaces, architecture, and vehicle-level behavior. The candidate will work closely with systems, software, hardware, validation, and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure system requirements are properly defined, implemented, and verified.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze vehicle and system-level requirements and identify gaps or inconsistencies.
• Translate vehicle requirements into functional and technical system requirements.
• Analyze system architecture, interfaces, dependencies, and interactions.
• Support development of system specifications and technical documentation.
• Perform requirements traceability from requirements through verification.
• Collaborate with software, hardware, controls, and validation teams.
• Investigate system-level defects and perform root-cause analysis.
• Review test cases and validation results against system requirements.
• Support system integration and vehicle-level testing.
• Analyze CAN/CAN FD, LIN, Ethernet, and diagnostic data.
• Participate in design reviews, requirements reviews, and issue-resolution meetings.
• Maintain requirements and engineering documentation using tools such as DOORS, Jama, Polarion, or similar platforms.

Required Skills

• 3–8 years of automotive systems engineering/analysis experience.
• Strong understanding of vehicle systems and ECU architecture.
• Experience with requirements engineering and traceability.
• Knowledge of CAN/CAN FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet, and UDS.
• Experience with DOORS, Jama, Polarion, or equivalent.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Experience working with cross-functional automotive engineering teams.

Preferred

• Experience with V-Model development.
• ASPICE/ISO 26262 knowledge.
• MATLAB/Simulink exposure.
• HIL/SIL testing experience.
• Experience with ADAS, body, powertrain, telematics, or connected vehicle systems.
