System Analyst

Major Job Duties

• Provide technical oversight in all activities relating to the Business Intelligence System for the Chinese Medicine Hospital of Hong Kong (CMHHK) including but not limited to the different stages of application development including design, development, system and user acceptance testing, training.
• Oversee application support, maintenance, and post-implementation enhancements in collaboration with vendors and users.
• Review and assess the project plan & project deliverables suggested by vendors, coordinate with vendors and recommend to users for final assessment.
• Facilitate project meetings and training sessions to maintain team alignment.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Specific Mandatory Requirements

• At least six years’ solid experience in system analysis, design and development of Business Intelligence Application.

• Experience in technology including Business Intelligence development, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load), Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Catalogue  MSSQL, PostgreSQL, API, RESTful.

• Experience in analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to translate business needs into technical specifications.

• Experience in various aspects of system implementation, including preparation of system analysis and design, user acceptance test, training material, system operation procedures.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good command of written and spoken English.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with vendors and users.

SpecificDesirable Requirements

• Experience in AI technologies (LLM).
• Knowledge in Government process and technical documentation.
• Experience in Healthcare sector.

This role is offered on a short-term contract basis, with contract duration up to 31 March 2027.
