About the job

As a System Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our client-facing operations and internal IT systems to deliver exceptional service delivery. This position requires a unique blend of understanding client needs, business process optimisation, and technical prowess to ensure that our IT solutions not only meet but exceed client expectations.

You will act as the linchpin between our clients' business operations and technology divisions, analysing business requirements, designing client-centric solutions, and shipping documentation and prototypes that move projects forward at high velocity.

This position requires full on-site presence in the office (Monday - Friday); hybrid or remote arrangements are not available.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with HODs, business units, clients, integration partners, and IT teams to gather, analyse, and translate business requirements into clear, structured documentation.
• Identify gaps in business processes, propose improvements, and ensure solutions align with business goals and industry best practices.
• Manage the full lifecycle of change requests—from requirement scoping, solution review, and development support through to User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment.
• Plan, facilitate, and manage technical workshops and UAT sessions with external clients, ensuring clear communication, smooth execution, and alignment on objectives, scope, and outcomes.
• Provide production support by investigating and resolving issues raised by stakeholders, ensuring system stability and minimal disruptions.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including Business Requirement Specifications (BRS), System Requirement Documents (SRD), Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), process flows, and related artifacts.
• Author Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) in Markdown, structured for AI engineering consumption and version-controlled alongside the codebase where applicable.
• Integrate AI tools into daily delivery work to compress turnaround on documentation and analysis. This is not an option. Examples: drafting BRS/SRS/PRD with Claude Code, generating ERDs and swimlane diagrams from prose, transcribing and summarising stakeholder workshops, building rapid prototypes in Claude Code, and using AI assistants to triage production issues. You will be expected to demonstrate measurable gains in throughput from these tools.
• Work closely with Software Engineering teams to clarify requirements, validate technical approaches, and recommend alternative solutions where necessary.
• Participate in project ceremonies, including sprint planning, change control boards, backlog grooming, and project retrospectives.
• Create conceptual designs and prototypes using Figma to facilitate requirement clarification and stakeholder alignment.

Skills & experience required

• 2 years of experience as a System Analyst or Full Stack Developer. Prior coding experience and ability to adopt AI workflows is a must.
• Strong interest and aptitude in preparing technical and functional documentation (process flows, swimlane diagrams, functional specifications, user guides).
• Ability to engage professionally with clients and stakeholders; stakeholder management depth will be developed on the job.
• Solid understanding of IT concepts, including web and mobile applications, APIs, databases, cloud technologies, integrations, and middleware.
• Experience with Figma, Lovable, or other prototyping tools is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities with a collaborative, solutions-driven attitude.
• Professional and composed when dealing with challenging stakeholders or high-pressure situations.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to manage complex problems and drive outcomes independently.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel for stakeholder engagement when required.
• Willing to support late-night system deployments and provide weekend support during critical incidents or production issues, including coordinating escalation to technical teams (L2/L3/L4) when necessary.
• Nice-to-have: Experience with JDN KRISA documentation standards (BRS, SRS, SDS, UAT, etc.) or other government/enterprise-grade SDLC frameworks.
• Nice-to-have: Familiarity with version control (Git) for managing Markdown-based PRDs and specifications.

1. Our team works extensively with AI-powered development tools. Please bring a laptop with the required tools installed and be prepared to use them during the assessment.
2. You will be given access to an online assessment upon arrival and will have 2 hours to complete it.
3. Assessment results will be evaluated by the Hiring Manager on the same day. Due to the high volume of applications, only shortlisted candidates will be invited for an immediate interview.
