System Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Own the complete lifecycle of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations platform, from first conception through development and customization to rigorous testing, building a robust, scalable ERP backbone on which the Group's finance as well as retail operations grow with confidence.

• Drive D365 projects as well as system enhancements from first blueprint through build and testing to careful deployment, recalculating man days against the agreed test cases in order to keep every estimate honest, landing new capabilities in the business without disruption.

• Translate the needs of business users across the Group into sound functional and technical designs, directing every enhancement towards a genuine priority whilst returning measurable value to the business.

• Architect and implement the integrations that connect D365 F&O with POS as well as other business systems, letting accurate information flow seamlessly across the technology landscape to give the whole business one single source of truth.

• Direct the complete testing effort on every initiative, harnessing AI to generate test cases straight from user requirements, reviewing each case for coverage as well as accuracy, validating test data across 2 to 3 sample sets, in order to safeguard a smooth, confident go live.

• Resolve incidents, problems and service requests within agreed service levels, restoring normal operations swiftly to keep every store as well as the head office moving without interruption.

• Maintain the platform through proactive upkeep, careful tuning as well as timely upgrades, keeping it secure, stable and performing at its best, giving the business a system it can depend on every single day.

• Document system designs together with configurations, changes and support procedures to an exacting standard, building a complete knowledge base that keeps support consistent whilst the platform stays audit ready at all times.

• Support end users across the Group each day, providing effective programming support in particular to the Sales Operation, Finance as well as HR departments, resolving issues promptly to keep every team working with confidence and efficiency.

Requirements:

• A Higher Diploma or above in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related discipline.

• At least 5 years' solid experience developing as well as supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions, with a proven record of writing clean X++ and C# code, tuning T-SQL in addition to delivering stable releases into live business environments.

• Prior experience within the beauty, cosmetics, luxury retail or service chain sectors is highly preferred, particularly where POS systems together with loyalty programmes and daily store trading shape the business; candidates from IT consultancies delivering D365 or POS integration projects into such industries are equally welcome.

• Strong programming skills in X++, C# as well as T-SQL, complemented by solid experience of Microsoft SQL Server together with a sound grasp of D365 F&O modules across finance, commerce, plus practical experience of system integration using APIs, web services or data entities, in addition to designing test cases, executing UAT and leveraging AI tools to strengthen testing.

• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the capability to diagnose complex system issues, devising solutions that are pragmatic as well as effective.

• A self motivated team player who takes ownership of every deliverable, thrives under pressure and consistently meets tight deadlines.

• A good command of both written and spoken Chinese as well as English.
