System Analyst

System Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Use AI across the whole analysis cycle (discovery, process maps, prototypes, user stories), owning every output: accurate, concise, specific and fit for purpose
• Work with users to capture and document their requirements for enhancing existing systems
• Contribute to establishing a standard User story format for specific use for development (Agile working in sprints)
• Write User Stories in the standard formats such that developers can consume them without ambiguity
• Contribute to and hands on write functional test cases working with testing team
• Work with internal customers/stakeholders and process owners to develop a shared understanding of existing or changing business processes, and impact on systems requirements under discussion

Requirements:

• Demonstrable experience of providing a range of business analysis services in a commercial environment
• Worked with project teams throughout different phases of the project life cycle or ongoing enhancements to production systems
• Track record of delivering sustainable business-focussed solutions
• Strong understanding of business process mapping and design and systems analysis and design
• Uses agentic AI tools such as Claude Code, Codex or OpenCode as a normal part of daily work. Has used them to build, automate or analyse real work, and can explain how they made sure the result was right
• Builds repeatable AI workflows rather than one-off prompts. Knows the strengths, limits and costs of different models and chooses between them
• Genuinely curious about new technology, what it can do and how it changes the way we work
• Fluency in English, written and spoken
