System Analyst (Contract 6 months - Renewable)

System Analyst – Insurance Industry

Job Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into functional and system requirements.
• Work closely with business users, developers, QA, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Analyze existing systems, workflows, and business processes to identify requirements and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare system-related documentation such as Functional Specifications, System Requirements, Process Flows, Use Cases, and API/Interface Specifications.
• Design system logic, data flows, integration requirements, and application workflows.
• Coordinate with development teams to clarify requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Support SIT, UAT, defect analysis, and production implementation.
• Investigate system issues and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
• Support insurance-related applications and system enhancement projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of experience as a System Analyst, Business System Analyst, or similar role.
• Experience in the Insurance industry or insurance-related systems is highly preferred.
• Good understanding of SDLC, system analysis, database concepts, APIs, and system integration.
• Able to create system documentation, flow diagrams, and functional specifications.
• Knowledge of SQL and ability to analyze data or database structures is preferred.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to coordinate effectively between business and technical teams.
• Comfortable working on-site 5 days per week.
• Available for a 6-month contract with the possibility of renewal.
