System Analyst / IT Business Analyst

📌 Job Summary

We are looking for a mid-level System Analyst / IT Business Analyst to bridge the gap between our business users and technical delivery teams. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering user requirements, translating them into technical documentation, and coordinating closely with external vendors (including teams in Mainland China) to drive system development and updates.

📋 Key Responsibilities

• Requirement Gathering: Interview internal users to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable system specifications.
• Vendor Coordination: Communicate requirements clearly to external developers and vendors (including Mainland China), monitoring progress to ensure alignment with specifications.
• System Development: Oversee the system update and development process, serving as the technical and functional anchor for the project.
• Documentation: Author and maintain crucial documents, including Functional Specification Documents (FSD), system workflows, use cases, and user manuals.
• Testing & Support: Plan and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business users and support post-launch system enhancements.

✅ Job Requirements

• Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, System Analyst, or in a similar IT delivery role.
• Technical Communication: Ability to translate complex business processes into technical logic, and vice versa.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English and Cantonese. Fluency in Mandarin is essential for negotiating and collaborating with vendors in China.
• Mindset: Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and detail-oriented documentation skills.

💡 Preferred Qualifications (Bonus Skills)

• Cloud Infrastructure: Knowledge of Cloud Architecture concepts (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Alibaba Cloud).
• Technical Stack: Familiarity with or prior coding experience in .NET Framework, MSSQL, Python, or JavaScript.
• IT Infrastructure: General understanding of Windows Server and basic networking concepts.
• Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
