System Analyst (Java, 50K)

Our client, a leading multinational organisation, is seeking an experienced System Analyst to join its corporate technology team. This role offers exposure to large-scale enterprise systems, cloud-native development, AI-enabled engineering practices, and global digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with business users and product teams to gather requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Lead system analysis, design, development, and implementation of enterprise applications.
• Develop and enhance cloud-native applications using modern architecture principles.
• Modernise and maintain existing systems, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA teams, and stakeholders across global locations.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum delivery and manage application releases and upgrades.
• Support business-critical applications and provide occasional after-hours support when required.
• Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI-assisted development tools and methodologies.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, AI Engineering, or related disciplines.

• Minimum 8 years of system analysis and application development experience.

• At least 2 years of team leadership or supervisory experience.

• Strong technical expertise in:

  • Java 21+
  • React and TypeScript
  • RESTful APIs, Microservices, Cloud-native Architecture
  • PostgreSQL / Oracle and MongoDB
  • Kubernetes, Docker/Podman, Helm

• Good understanding of:

  • Domain-Driven Design (DDD)
  • MVVM and Micro-Frontend Architecture
  • CI/CD and DevOps practices

• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (e.g. GitHub Copilot) and AI-assisted software development workflows is highly desirable.

• Experience in legacy system modernisation and migration projects will be an advantage.
