Required Experience

• Systems engineering in industrial, automation, aerospace, or test environments.
• Industrial automation systems and machine directive compliance.
• PLC programming (preferably Bosch Rexroth platforms).
• MATLAB/Simulink modelling and simulation.
• Control systems engineering and PID tuning.
• Data acquisition system design and integration.
• Electrical and electronic system design and review.
• Interpretation and review of schematics and BOMs.
• Sensor and actuator selection.
• UKCA/CE marking and EMC compliance support.
• Technical report generation and documentation.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.

Desirable Experience

• Human Machine Interface (HMI) development.
• Test systems and test rig development.
• Industrial automation commissioning.
• Mechanical, control, and DAQ subsystem integration.
• Components selection for automation applications.
• Aerospace environmental testing systems.
• Advanced control tuning and optimisation techniques.
