System and Network Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Systems and Network Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Systems engineering and network hardware, capable of designing, implementing, and maintaining reliable and secure networks. This role demands strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

System Maintenance and Support:

· Monitor system performance and perform regular maintenance tasks.

· Troubleshoot and resolve system issues in a timely manner.

· Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other stakeholders.

Project Management:

· Collaborate with project managers to plan, execute, and deliver projects on time and within budget.

· Develop and maintain project documentation, including system specifications, design documents, and user manuals.

· Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

Continuous Improvement:

· Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements.

· Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

· Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.

Qualifications:

Education:

· Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

· 3-5 years of experience in systems, Network engineering, or a related field.

· Proven experience with system design, implementation, and troubleshooting.

Technical Skills:

· Proficiency in operating systems (e.g., Windows, Mac) and network protocols.

· Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g. O365 AWS, Azure).

· Familiarity with CCTV, PABX, and Structure Cabling

· Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN)

· Configure and install various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, Wi-Fi)

Soft Skills:

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

· Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Fortinet NSE4 or greater, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), or AWS Certified Solutions Architect.

Work Environment:

· This position may require occasional travel and after-hours support.

· The role is typically office-based but may involve remote work depending on organizational policies.
