System and Network Engineer / Support

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the daily maintenance, monitoring, and administration of the company's system and network infrastructure (servers, routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, etc.).
• Provide system and network technical support to internal staff or clients, handling technical issues received via instant messaging, email, and phone.
• Perform system deployment, hardware/software upgrades, security patch updates, and regular data backups.
• Continuously monitor network performance and system stability; swiftly identify and troubleshoot network failures and system anomalies.
• Collaborate with development teams and third-party vendors to drive system architecture optimization and new project deployments.
• Draft and update system/network architecture documentation, setup guides, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Undertake ad-hoc technical support and maintenance tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Higher Diploma or above in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in system/network administration or technical support.
• Familiar with Linux (e.g., RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS) and Windows Server operating systems.
• Proficient in TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, VPN, firewalls, routing, and switching technologies; holding professional certifications such as CCNA is preferred.
• Excellent logical analysis and troubleshooting skills, capable of working under pressure with a strong sense of responsibility.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Fluent in written and spoken English, Mandarin, and Cantonese.
• Candidates with less experience will be considered for the position of Assistant Engineer / Support Specialist.
