System and Quality Assurance Analyst

The candidate will join the regional IT team supporting, delivering and validating system solutions across U.S., Latin America, and Caribbean markets.

The role combines system analysis and quality assurance , ensuring that new functionalities and system changes meet business requirements, quality standards, and SDLC best practices.

The analyst collaborates closely with business, development, and operations teams, supporting project delivery, testing activities, and production support.

Job Duties:

System Analyst

• Analyze and document functional and technical requirements (shared responsibility with Business Analysts).
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to define system solutions.
• Support data integration and validation across systems and regions.
• Support Change Management activities and production deployments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation system.
• Collaborate on system/user training materials as part of core responsibilities.

Quality Assurance

• Design, execute, and document test plans and test cases.
• Perform functional and regression testing.
• Validate system changes against business requirements.
• Support automation of repetitive testing tasks.
• Support UAT activities including bug/defect triage and resolution.
• Experience with test management tools (e.g., Zephyr).
• Experience working with reporting or visualization tools (e.g., Power BI).

Production Support

• Perform issue triage, root cause analysis, and validation of fixes.
• Support DR testing and BCP updates as required.
• Provide after-hours support and travel as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in systems, IT, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience as System Analyst and/or QA Analyst.
• Solid knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience working with Oracle Database and/or SQL Server and data querying.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Intermediate English

A plus:

• Hands-on experience with test automation.
• Experience with Agile (Scrum / Kanban) teams.
• Experience validating data in complex systems.
• Experience with data and system integrations (ETLs/APIs).
• Experience in insurance, health, or regulated industries.
