SYSTEM ASSURANCE ENGINEER 2

PRIMARY PURPOSE

The System Assurance Engineer 2 (SAE2) will support the System Assurance Manager with all system assurance and Reliability, Availability, Maintainability & Safety (RAMS) activities within the organization and among Designers, Consultants, Sub-Contractors, Suppliers and The Employer/Engineer.

The SAE shall be responsible for all System Assurance and RAMS tasks including hosting and facilitating Hazard Identification Workshops.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Coordinate with CP101 Design team, Interface Team, Design Consultants, sub-contractors & suppliers regarding System Assurance & RAMS Tasks and activities.
• Manage the Comply Pro CP 101 Database as configured by The Employer/Engineer providing data input, modification, revision, and update to ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance with the MMSP & CP101 System Assurance Framework and process.
• Perform Hazard Identification, Hazard Analysis & Hazard Management process for the CP101 Scope of Work, including Preliminary Hazard Analysis, System Hazard Analysis, Sub-System Hazard Analysis, Interface Hazard Analysis and Operations & Support Hazard Analysis.
• Perform Design Verification & Design Validation Activities
• Perform or assist in the performance of Quantified Risk Analysis and Quantitative Risk Assessment.
• Safety Critical Items Identification and List, Identification of Safety Related Application Conditions Assist in the identification and determination (allocation) of Safety Integrity Level for Systems/Sub Systems Perform and assist in RAMS activities, including Failure Modes Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA), Reliability Block Diagrams (RBD), Event Tree Analysis (ETA), Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) Reliability Critical Items List (RCIL), and any other techniques and methods as required.
• Perform or assist in Reliability Availability and Maintainability Analysis and Prediction
• Assist in the production of System Assurance & RAMS Plan, studies, reports & required documentation for submission to the Employer/Engineer.
• Any other System Assurance and RAMS Tasks as required under the supervision of the System Assurance Manager.
• Perform other duties from time to time as assigned by the superior.

EDUCATION, TECHNICAL CAPABILITY AND CAREER

• Degree Qualified in any Engineering or Science subject.
• Numerate with mechanical comprehension and technical understanding.
• Desirable: Post graduate experience on infrastructure/railway related projects
