System Desginer

1. Design and develop software solutions by translating business requirements, workflows, functional specifications, and UI requirements into practical application designs and working software.

2. Analyse solution requirements before development, identify process gaps, dependencies, validations, business rules, integrations, and recommend appropriate solution approaches.

3. Prepare solution designs, application workflows, module structures, data flows, APIs, and database requirements before proceeding with development.

4. Develop web-based and API-driven applications using technologies such as PHP/Laravel and Python/FastAPI; experience with other modern programming languages and frameworks is also acceptable.

5. Possess strong relational database experience, including database design, tables, relationships, SQL queries, stored procedures, data validation, optimisation, and integration with applications.

6. Work with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code or similar coding assistants, using structured requirements and development standards to plan, generate, review, test, and improve application code.

7. Integrate applications with databases, APIs, third-party platforms, enterprise systems and MCP-enabled services, while ensuring proper authentication, validation, logging, and error handling.

8. Follow established software architecture, coding standards, Git/version-control practices, security requirements, testing processes, and deployment procedures throughout the development lifecycle.

9. Perform self-review, unit testing, debugging, performance optimisation and technical documentation, and work with users or product teams during UAT to resolve issues before production release.

10. Candidates should demonstrate a strong combination of solution-thinking and hands-on development capability—able to understand a business problem, propose the design, define the required data structure, and independently develop the agreed solution.
