Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced System Design Engineer Senior Expert to join an agile engineering team responsible for developing and maintaining communication interfaces between vehicles and external tools, including solutions supporting remote operations. The products are used throughout the complete product lifecycle, from development and testing to manufacturing, workshops, and remote scenarios. The role involves software design, implementation, testing, integration, and support within a self-organizing Scrum team.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• End-to-End Development & Architecture: Drive the complete software lifecycle for vehicle communication interfaces, encompassing system design, protocol implementation, integration, testing, and continuous improvement.
• Agile Collaboration & Delivery: Work closely with stakeholders and cross-functional Scrum teams to identify, troubleshoot, and successfully release robust, reusable software solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant Software/system engineering experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the core required technology/domain.
• Strong programming and Software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Visual Studio.
• Strong experience with Git.
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience with multithreaded programming.
• Experience working with communication protocols, including design and implementation.
• Good understanding of software design, development, testing, and integration.
• Experience working in Scrum/Agile environments.
• Experience with diagnostic communication protocols such as ISO 14229 (UDS) and SAE J1587.
• Experience developing applications or solutions involving cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.
• Experience with remote operations or vehicle-to-tool communication solutions.
