SYSTEM ENGINEER (AB PLC Compulsory)

Job Responsibilities

• Optimizing system performance to get best yield & output.
• Support Process Engineers in various process related issues
• Work with vendors & customers to ensure good performance
• Provide guidance and training to the team
• Ensure smooth startup of new equipment together with equipment vendors.
• Able to analyze and troubleshoot highly automated machines with detailed understanding of equipment, material and process interactions
• Support production stabilization projects to achieve robust manufacturing
• Able to cross support across all production lines
• To ensure safety requirements are upheld when optimizing systems function on production lines
• Respond to escalation from factory at all times.
• Ensure compliance to ISO9001/14001 and 27001 policies
• Ensure compliance to RBA policies and standards
• Any other reasonable tasks assigned by Superior or management

Job Requirement

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics, Mechatronics, IT/Software, Computer Science or Diploma in related field with more than 5 years’ experience
• Minimum 4 years working experience in System Engineering
• Experience in AB PLC is a must
• Experience with AB servo motors, AB drive, pneumatic, Omron PLC, sensors, electrical and automation system are advantage
• Ability to read and understand mechanical and pneumatic drawings include electronic/electrical schematics
• Strong problem-solving & analytical skills.
• Self-motivated, hands on and good team player
• Ability to work under pressure
• Demonstrates discipline in timely execution of tasks
• Demonstrates flexibility/adaptability to frequent changes
• Strong knowledge electrical systems. Inkjet knowledge (advantage)
