System Engineer - Advanced Networking (L2/L3)

This role is responsible for designing and managing enterprise network infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments, while ensuring secure connectivity, system integration, and reliable operations for business-critical platforms.

Description

• Design and manage enterprise network infrastructure across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable connectivity.
• Configure, support, and optimise core networking technologies, including routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, and load balancing solutions.
• Drive the integration of third-party applications and platforms, working closely with vendors and internal stakeholders to align technical requirements and ensure seamless connectivity.
• Establish secure connections between data centres, cloud platforms, Kubernetes environments, and business-critical applications.
• Develop and maintain network architecture standards, IP addressing strategies, and security controls to support business growth and operational resilience.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and networking issues within mission-critical environments.
• Support API, SAML/SSO, and system integration initiatives, while ensuring the stability and performance of application and microservices platforms.
• Maintain network documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure improvements.

Profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
• At least 5 years of experience in network infrastructure engineering, platform engineering, or systems engineering.
• Experience supporting mission-critical enterprise network infrastructure.
• API based System Integration experience.
• Nice to have Experience in using AI tools such as Claude, Cursor, Codex to develop production grade applications.
• Great attention to detail.
• CCNA or equivalent
• AI training and GPU infrastructure setup.
