Your Task

We are looking for an ambitious, experienced German-speaking Cloud System Engineer who would like to work in a small, self-organizing team that operates SaaS/PaaS platforms for multiple clients. In this position, you will play an active role in the entire operation process, from building and operating T Cloud Public infrastructure to managing Kubernetes environments. The team works with a self-developed automation framework, in the further development of which you are also involved. The aim of this project is to provide a high quality digital customer experience and to develop modern infrastructures, providing the necessary professional knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate cloud infrastructure in T Cloud Public environment with our own OpenTofu/Ansible framework
• Participate in the further development of the framework by creating new modules and roles and implementing development proposals
• Run Kubernetes (CCE) environments, including Helm, Ingress, and Load Balancer components
• Build and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines and templates for installing and configuring product packages
• Define and carry out operational tasks according to service operations best practices
• Ensure reliable monitoring and troubleshoot in harsh environments

Your Profile

We are looking for an experienced Cloud System Engineer with strong expertise in cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, automation frameworks, and operational support. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools, container orchestration, and CI/CD pipelines, along with proficiency in English.

Must Have Skills

• Experience in operating cloud platforms and applications (e.g. T Cloud Public/OpenStack, Azure, AWS, GCP)
• At least thorough, hands-on knowledge of a public cloud platform
• Extensive system administration experience
• Experience in operational support: troubleshooting, fault analysis, incident management
• Practical knowledge of Terraform/OpenTofu (modules, state management)
• Practical knowledge of Ansible (roles, inventories, idempotencies)
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker
• Git and GitLab CI/CD experience
• Scripting experience (Bash/Python)
• Automation experience
• Monitoring experience (Prometheus, Grafana)
• Experience in automating workflows, using AI effectively
• Proficiency in English in writing and oral

Nice to Have Skills

• Experience in an OpenStack-based cloud environment
• Knowledge of AWX/Ansible Tower
• Container security experience (Trivy/Trivy Operator)
• Knowledge of Active Directory/Azure Entra IDs
• Knowledge of Web Application Firewalls
• Experience in the administration of database systems
• German language skills
