System Engineer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented System Engineer with strong automation and coding experience to join our remote team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving automated systems and workflows that help streamline business processes and improve overall efficiency.

The successful candidate should have strong programming and problem-solving skills, hands-on experience with automation, and the ability to troubleshoot and integrate different systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions and workflows.
• Write, test, debug, and maintain clean and efficient code.
• Identify repetitive or manual processes that can be automated to improve efficiency.
• Develop scripts and tools to streamline system and business processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve system, software, automation, and integration issues.
• Integrate different applications, platforms, APIs, and systems.
• Monitor existing automation workflows and make improvements when needed.
• Test automation processes to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance.
• Collaborate with internal teams to understand technical requirements and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Maintain clear documentation of system configurations, automation workflows, scripts, and technical solutions.
• Assist with system maintenance, updates, and technical improvements.
• Ensure automation solutions are reliable, scalable, and easy to maintain.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a System Engineer, Automation Engineer, Software Engineer, or similar technical role.
• Strong experience with coding and scripting.
• Hands-on experience developing and maintaining automation workflows.
• Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language such as Python, JavaScript, PowerShell, Bash, or similar.
• Experience working with APIs, system integrations, and third-party applications.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Good understanding of system processes, software applications, and technical integrations.
• Ability to work independently and manage tasks effectively in a remote work environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing reliable solutions.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with automation platforms and workflow tools.
• Experience with cloud platforms or cloud-based applications.
• Familiarity with databases and SQL.
• Experience with Git or other version-control systems.
• Experience working with webhooks, APIs, and system integrations.
• Experience automating business or administrative processes is a plus.
