What they need
Solid understanding of enterprise networking, including TCP/IP, VLANs, Layer 2/Layer 3 switching(MPLS-TP, QoS,RSTP, ERPS, OSPF, and BGP.)
Hands-on experience with Cisco and/or Juniper network devices, including configuration and troubleshooting.(Juniper or Cisco certifications preferred)
Knowledge of cybersecurity solutions such as firewalls, VPNs, NAC, and SIEM.
Familiarity with Windows/Linux server environments, virtualization, and Network Management Systems (NMS).
Experience in system integration, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), System Integration Testing (SIT/FSIT), or commissioning activities.
Ability to read and understand technical specifications, interface documents, and network diagrams.
Knowledge of fiber optic communication systems and basic network testing tools (e.g., Ethernet Tester, OTDR, optical power meter).
Capable of troubleshooting complex issues across multiple systems and coordinating with different technical disciplines.
Knowledge of Master Clock (GNSS, NTP)
