System Engineer

For our client, we are seeking a System Engineer to join the team of a leader in the Media space.

This role will focus on designing and supporting resilient enterprise systems that enable customer-facing services in a media environment. You will collaborate closely with engineering and stakeholder teams to shape scalable technical solutions, evaluate hardware and software choices, and ensure platform reliability. The position also requires serving as a subject matter expert, providing documentation, training, and clear recommendations that support delivery and operational excellence.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $100,000 – $120,000 annually

Responsibilities

• Implement secure and resilient enterprise-level systems and tools
• Architect and build scalable system components to support new customer services
• Make hardware and software design decisions based on customer priorities
• Develop prototypes and deployment strategies in collaboration with teams
• Function as a subject matter expert for OS platform service offerings
• Handle training, documentation, and knowledge sharing
• Present solutions and recommendations to stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in systems engineering
• Strong experience with Microsoft server products and services
• Complex problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Customer experience mindset with a focus on understanding needs
• Availability for after-hours on-call support as needed
