Job Summary

We are seeking a Systems Requirements Engineer to support systems engineering and requirements management activities in an engineering environment. The role focuses on requirements documentation, allocation, traceability, change-impact assessment, interface definition, verification, and configuration control.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Systems Requirements Engineering, SRD, PTS, SwRD, and Polarion ALM , along with the ability to coordinate requirements across engineering teams and maintain accurate documentation throughout the product development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Manage systems engineering requirements and associated documentation.
• Develop, maintain, and manage System Requirements Documents (SRD), PTS, and Software Requirements Documents (SwRD) .
• Perform requirements allocation, traceability, and consistency checks.
• Use Polarion ALM to manage requirements, maintain traceability, and support requirements lifecycle activities.
• Support requirements and project tracking activities using Jira.
• Conduct change-impact assessments and evaluate the effects of proposed engineering changes.
• Define and manage system interfaces and support interface verification.
• Maintain configuration control and ensure requirements documentation remains accurate and current.
• Prepare and maintain OEM documentation and requirements records.
• Participate in engineering design reviews and requirements reviews.
• Coordinate with engineering teams and stakeholders to resolve requirements issues and maintain alignment.
• Support documentation reviews and verification activities throughout the engineering lifecycle.

Required Qualifications

• Relevant engineering background.
• Hands-on experience in Systems Requirements Engineering .
• Experience managing SRD, PTS, and SwRD documentation.
• Experience with requirements allocation and traceability .
• Practical experience with Polarion ALM .
• Experience conducting change-impact assessments.
• Knowledge of interface definition and verification.
• Experience with configuration control and requirements documentation management.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and coordination skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Jira .
• Experience preparing and maintaining OEM engineering documentation.
• Participation in technical and design reviews.
• Experience coordinating requirements across multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience maintaining requirements traceability records.
• Aerospace, avionics, systems engineering, or other OEM engineering environment experience.
