System Engineer for Lunar Mobility

Who we are We are responsible for preparing for the upcoming New Space era by planning and developing mobility systems that operate on the lunar surface. Hyundai Motor Company, as a comprehensive mobility company redefining the future of transportation, is expanding the scope of mobility from Earth to space through the development of lunar exploration mobility. Responsibilities In this role, you will oversee the overall product engineering of lunar exploration mobility, from establishing system requirements to managing system/subsystem interfaces and supporting system-level test and verification throughout the development process.

■ Lunar Exploration Mobility Product Engineering Oversight

ㅤ· Overseeing overall engineering activities throughout the development process

ㅤ· Managing and coordinating requirements, schedules, deliverables, risks, and technical issues across development activities

■ System Requirements and Specification Derivation/Management

• Deriving and defining overall system requirements and applicable specifications during early development
• Monitoring and managing compliance with requirements and specifications during development

■ System/Subsystem Interface Management and Test & Verification Support

• Managing HW/SW interfaces between the system and subsystems
• Coordinating integration across R&D organizations
• Supporting system-level test and verification activities and schedule management

■ Development Documentation, Review and Management

• Preparing system-level deliverables and reports
• Reviewing and managing development deliverables

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related technical field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in spacecraft systems development or aerospace systems engineering
• Proficiency in English (fluent in both written and oral business communication)
• Those capable of understanding and leading the development of overall systems for lunar exploration mobility or equivalent platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree or higher in Aerospace Engineering or a related field
• Experience in the development of mobility systems
• Experience in systems integration on successful space programs
• Experience conducting related work with international institutions/companies
