| About the role

Administer, automate and secure Al Etihad Payments' Linux server estate, with a primary focus on Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Red Hat Satellite and Ansible Automation Platform (Tower). The role ensures stable, compliant and efficiently managed Linux infrastructure for critical payment services.

|What You’ll Do:

Linux Server Administration

• Install, configure and maintain RHEL and other Linux distributions across physical, virtual and cloud environments.
• Manage file systems, LVM, storage, networking, users and services.
• Monitor system performance and resolve incidents and problems within agreed SLAs.

Red Hat Satellite & Patch Management

• Administer Red Hat Satellite for subscription, content and lifecycle management.
• Plan and execute patching cycles, errata management and OS upgrades with minimal service disruption.
• Maintain standard builds and provisioning templates.

Automation (Ansible Tower)

• Develop, maintain and run Ansible playbooks and roles through Ansible Automation Platform.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, compliance checks and routine operations.
• Manage inventories, credentials, job templates and RBAC within Ansible Tower.

Security & Compliance

• Apply CIS and organizational hardening baselines, SELinux and access controls.
• Remediate vulnerabilities and support PCI DSS and CBUAE audit requirements.
• Maintain technical documentation, SOPs and configuration records.

|Qualifications & Years of Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Linux system administration in enterprise environments.
• Preferred certifications: RHCE, RHCSA, Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation or Satellite.

|Required Skills

• Expert RHEL administration and troubleshooting.
• Red Hat Satellite and Ansible Automation Platform.
• Shell and Python scripting.
• Virtualization (VMware, KVM) and basic cloud knowledge.
• Clustering (Pacemaker) and high availability concepts.
